Tricky quarter-final for Terengganu

Johor Bahru: In a typical football twist and turn, just hours before its crucial second leg Proton Kings' Gold Cup quarter-final  match against Singapore, Terengganu is beset by a string of injuries to its key players.

Already without influential captain Mohd Alif Hafifi Mohd who was red-carded in the dying minutes of the first leg, manager Nor Zaidi Mohamed tells BolaPantaiTimur that their newly-registered duo "also cannot play due to injury". Both returned from a month's training stint in Croatia this week. They were roped in to beef up the team ahead of tonight's match.

On top of that, midfielder Syed Sobri is also out for two weeks due to injury. He says, " We are identifying the remaining fit players for tonight's first 11. Veteran Terengganu  midfielder Syed Ridzuan Syed Abdullah will wear the armband. "

Still, BolaPantaiTimur understands that the players are in a cheerful mood. "They will go all out come what may," says coach Mustapha Kamal Wahab.
