Excellent football potential in Malaysia - Indonesian agent

Kuala Terengganu: Malaysia has an excellent football future, says an Indonesian football players' agent.

In a meeting with BolaPantaiTimur recently, Budi Liminto says, " Malaysia has very good potential. It has good money, plenty of supporters and lively atmosphere."
Malaysian League can be as good as the best in Asia

He also says the proposed ASEAN League and privatisation of Malaysian Super League are steps in the right direction. Budi adds, " Big teams and the countries' champions can meet and be exposed to higher level competition. If the privatised Super League can be run well, Malaysia can be as good as K-League or J-League."

By contrast, he believes that the S-League is not really good since it does not have many supporters.

Budi's market is mostly in Southeast Asia, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam. He has acted as the agent for players such as Macedonian Goran Ganchev, Korean Park Chul Hyung, Australian David Micevski, Korean Han ji ho and Greek-Australian Andreas Govas (pix below).
