All is not lost despite defeat

Kuala Terengganu: Terengganu again couldn't advance beyond the semi-final in this year's edition of Proton Kings' Gold Cup.

Last night it only managed a scoreless draws at home against Perlis after losing 1-2 last week in the first leg. Perlis went through to the final by a 2-1 aggregate. It will square off against neighbouring Kedah.

"The Terengganu players played below their true capabilities. Despite playing at home, they couldn't absorb the pressure to get a solitary goal to qualify for the final," Terengganu manager, Nor Zaidi Mohamed told Bola Pantai Timur.

Yet for the Terengganu players, all is not lost.

Eleven of them will begin training with both Terengganu and T-Team President Cup teams. The rest will be evaluated for FELDA's FAM Cup team.
