Thanks to Marcio Souza who scored in the 11th minute, Turtles continued to build up the momentum with superior possession and deft touches against the young Shahzan side.
Subsequent goals by Manaf (36) and Marcio (41) put them 3-0 ahead. Saha's penalty kick just before the breather however went above the crossbar.
Zairo and Farhan came in the second half for Manaf and Marcio respectively. The move saw Zairo scoring Turtle's fourth goal in the 76th minute. Then Nasril Izzat came in for Fakhrurazi.
Terengganu wasted several chances to win by a bigger margin due to poor finishing.
Shahzan Muda's coach Tajuddin Nor says his side is inexperienced compared to Terengganu.

" The game is a learning curve for us. We are just a feeder team for Pahang," he says, adding, "Eight of the Pahang players who won the Malaysia Cup last year came from our club."
Tajuddin notes that Terengganu local players click well together and Turtles have depth in the squad. On Marcio, who scored a brace, he adds, " As an import player, he should have made the game more difficult for our young players."
Still, noting that this is only Turtles' second competitive game this season, Terengganu head coach Abdul Rahman Ibrahim says, " At the moment we need positive results. The good game will come with better understanding and combination as players become more familiar with each other."
In last night's match Turtles introduced five new players to the first eleven and rested a few regulars.
