Pahang assistant coach, Zainal Abidin Hassan shares with Bola Pantai Timur, "Of course we want to win and collect full points. But usually it is a close game between the two sides." He adds that most probably Mohd Azamuddin Md Akil aka Alex and Mohd Razman Roslan will not be playing due to ankle and muscle injuries respectively.

Zainal: Patah tumbuh, hilang berganti |
In any event, the Elephants have scheduled a morning meeting tomorrow to identify possible replacements. Zainal says, " We have suitable replacements. Besides, since Dickson Nwakaeme and R Surendran are back with the team, it is just like patah tumbuh hilang berganti (whoever are "lost" for the team are being appropriately replaced)."
Pahang have been doing well lately. Four of their players have also been called up for Harimau Malaya centralised training under coach Ong Kim Swee.
However since they are still involved in the FA Cu, observers note that they may be high on match fitness but their recovery may not be adequate amid tight schedules.
Meanwhile Terengganu head coach Abdul Rahman Ibrahim says his team need to win.
Abdul Rahman: Turtles have to play better |
He tells Bola Pantai Timur, "Pahang are a good side. To win over them, we have no choice except to play better than them in all respects." Quips another Terengganu official, " Pahang have their own strengths. However the confidence level of our players have risen and we shall give our best for three points."
