Pahang to leverage on winning mood - manager

Kuantan: The Elephants are aiming for a comfortable win in tonight's first quarter final clash against PDRM.

Team manager Dato' Che Nasir Salleh shares with Bola Pantai Timur, "Our players must play well and leverage on our winning mood. If we can win big, it will be a bonus." Based on the players' spirit, he adds that Pahang can win the game.

Datuk Che Nasir: Pahang can win
PDRM head coach-cum-manager and former Pahang coach Dollah Salleh admits that Pahang are a good team.

Dollah Salleh: New PDRM to give their best
He tells Bola Pantai Timur, "It won't be easy for us. We have only been together for the last 2-3 months. Pahang are good in all departments. From what we can see they are even better now than last season." He adds, " Even though we have been winning too this season, our opponents were on par with us in terms of standard. We are still looking for rhythm."

Che' Nasir says Pahang players are well-suited.

He adds, "The longer they are together, they can play even better. All the first eleven players give a good commitment. However there is still room for performance improvement." To him, Pahang strengths lie in its midfield and speedy wingers.

Still Pahang cannot expect PDRM to be an easy meat.

Dollah stresses, " What I can say is we will give our best."
