Ryan Griffiths to replace Alireza

Kuala Terengganu: Sarawak FA is set to take in Adelaide United's Ryan Griffiths as a replacement for poorer-than-expected Alireza Abbasfard.

Met after Sarawak lost 0-2 to T-Team last Saturday, head coach Rober Alberts said the game was Iranian Alireza's last for the team. He added, " Alireza is not up to the mark."

Commenting on the game against T-Team, Alberts said, " We had the match but failed to score despite the numerous attacks. T-Team played a fundamental game and made good their chances."

Menawhile T-Team head coach, Mohd Azraai Khor Abdullah said, " The turning point was when Joseph Kallang Tie missed the penalty (just before half time). We took our chances well in the second half. Our mission for now is to improve our spot in the standing table." With the win, they have climbed up one rung to second last from their previous last spot.
