Can The Fighters create history?

While The Elephants choose not to under-rate its opponent,  many coaches and pundits have openly chosen Pahang to win in tonight's FA Cup final between Felda and Pahang.

2. The reasons are fairly orthodox and familiar ones.

3.  Perlis coach Reduan Abdullah picks Pahang because "They are consistent throughout the season and they had played and won in the Malaysia Cup final last year." PDRM head coach-cum-manager and former Pahang coach Dollah Salleh agrees. He says, "I believe it will be Pahang because all their departments are strong. Every player from the team can score goal." If these are not bad enough for Felda, ATM head coach B Sathianathan also goes for The Elephants. Reason: " They are full of confidence at the moment."

4. Even so, Felda has just changed its alias from The Settlers who may be rather contented, to a more power-packed The Fighters. Having come this far, will they easily surrender this best chance to create history for the club and Felda as a whole?

5. Yes unlike the finesse shown in the first away semi-final against TRW, they looked somewhat erratic in the second home semi-final. Have they recovered fully to turn the table against the favourite team?

6. "Felda have experienced players who can challenge Pahang," admits Reduan. "Indra and Wilson have to be at their best for Felda," quips Dollah.

7. For Pahang manager, Dato' Che Nasir, The Elephants are adopting the right attitude to win. He says, " The best two teams are in the final. We are not under-estimating Felda," adding, " the pressure on us is pretty normal."
