JDT should win everything next season - Steve Darby

Kota Bharu: Big spender JDT should win every honours to be fought for in Malaysian football next season, predicts Kelantan head coach Stephen David "Steve" Darby.

In a conversation with Bola Pantai Timur, he says," With 22 internationals and four foreign internationals, they are very capable of top-class football." He adds that other clubs will be fighting for the second spot.

Steve says with massive departure of its players, TRW is a completely new team. He adds, " We can't compete financially with JDT, FELDA or even PDRM. They offer bigger salaries."

In a related development, Steve says the organiser of a tournament in Indonesia which TRW should be participating in has cancelled it due to lack of available clubs.

However the former Perak head coach, Thailand assistant coach and Thailand U-23 manager says TRW will have a friendly match against KL SPA on 4 January. He declares, " We are now ready for competitive matches. All our players are now fitter and stronger. Those who were injured have fully recovered."
