Turtles played well - Bojan Hodak

Kuala Terengganu: JDT Manager Bojan Hodak admitted that Turtles played well in their Super League clash here last night.

The former TRW head coach said, " Terengganu were waiting for counter-attacks and took their chances well." He also noted that Terengganu goalkeeper Sharbinee Allawee also made a few good saves. Likewise however JDT goalkeeper Izham Tarmizi also made a few saves.

Hodak said JDT were a bit unlucky, adding that their attempts hit the woodwork twice.

Still he said, " At the end of the day, in football, goals count."

Meanwhile Terengganu head coach, Abdul Rahman Ibrahim is pleased with the result.
Abdul Rahman: Tactical approach plus luck

He said, " Alhamdulillah our tactical approach worked. The players carried out their respective duties as instructed."  At the same time he admitted that Turtles were also lucky they were saved by the woodwork twice.

Terengganu regained the top spot with the latest win. They also have a game in hand.

For various reasons, the clash did not feature Terengganu's Ashaari Shamsuddin and Zairo Anuar Zalani as well as JDT's Mohd Aidil Zafuan, Pablo Aimar and Safee Sali.
