T-Team to finalize new import player soon - head coach

Fresh from their first 3-0 win of the season last night against ATM,  Kuala Terengganu-based T-Team are looking forward to their new signings during the April transfer window.

At present it looks like their preference is for an import player with Croation experience.

Head coach Tomislav Steinbruckner reveals to BolaPantaiTimur, " We will finalize our fourth import in the next few days. It is a very important midfield position which controls everything. To ensure a good understanding, most probably we will opt for someone who is experienced in the Croatian Super League." Besides, T-Team are also looking for two or three local players.

The Croatian coach, who last played for Singapore Armed Forces FC, also has an assistant Croatian coach, Ivica Vranjes.

Commenting on last night's game against ATM, he says, " We deserved to win. After making some changes in the second half, we played better and should have wrapped it up during normal time." Uzbek Farhod Tadjiyev scored a brace while Muhammad Safawi Rasid added another during extra time after a scoreless normal time.

Still, looking ahead, he says the team have to work harder.

On the next home game against Premier League table-topper, JDT 2, Steinbruckner says, " JDT 2 is a good team. But we  will do our best to gain some points." He adds the win over ATM is a good tonic for his charges - boosting their confidence, courage and fighting spirit.
