Terengganu appear to have buried their differences and are now focussed on the FA Cup.
2. Earlier there seemed to be some unsettling matters facing the Turtles' camp - ranging from training pitches to "premature"announcement of its fourth import player. A team official says, " Given the few remaining steps left for the FA Cup Final, it would make sense to focus on this competition for the time being." For the record Terengganu were FA Cup champions in 2000 and 2011.
3. It is also a sensible focus given encouraging younger brother team, T-Team who only lost to Terengganu's would-be quarter-final opponent, Perak, by a respectable margin, 1-2, recently. Terengganu also didn't do too badly against Perak when they were in the same group in the Malaysia Cup competition last year.
4. Still, a caveat is in order. Perak, are a much different team under head coach M Karathu this year. They are by no means, easy meat, for Terengganu.
5. In what is seen as a positive move, at its Executive Council meeting and AGM today, Terengganu Football Association (PBSNT) took a few steps forward. First, it decided to implement an online ticketing system soon. Second, the meeting was infomed that Pitch A at the Gong Badak Sports complex is now PBSNT's official pitch. "Priority for training there is given to the senior team," says another official.
6. Third, the meeting also ratified the signing of Timor Leste's Jaime Braganca as Turtles' fourth import - said to be jointly-agreed by the manager, head coach as well as foreign and local players alike. Unlike most other teams, Terengganu, like Premier League outfit, T-Team, have been relying on only three imports for the first two months of this season.
7. Fourth, in a sign of solidarity, the meeting also agreed to "release" striker Izzaq Faris Ramlan and its fourth keeper, Joe, to T-Team.
8. All the three east coast teams (from the Super League) are through for the FA Cup quarter finals after their respective knock-out stages. Interestingly the current top four teams in the Super League, have been knocked out of the quarter finals.
