KAFA to decide on Annuar Musa's position

Kota Bharu: Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) will decide on the position of Tan Sri Annuar Musa when its key officials return from Myanmar. TRW team manager-cum-KAFA general-secretary, Hj Azman Ibrahim tells Bola Pantai Timur, " It will be a collective decision."

Azman: Tan Sri Annuar can be KAFA Patron

Annuar recently sprang a surprise by resigning with immediate effect from all his football positions at both national and state levels. He specifically said that he did not want to be the "reason Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) not functioning or not doing its job by cooperating with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS)."

Azman admits," If Tan Sri leaves, it will be huge loss for us," adding," Bearing in mind that he is a Member of Parliament (MP) though, perhaps he can play a different role. He can be our Patron."   

Assuming that Annuar will stick to his decision however, Azman says at this juncture, his successor as KAFA President cannot be ascertained yet. He adds, " It will not be easy to find a personality of his calibre. But if Tan Sri is firm, we will have to respect his decision."
