Another challenge for Steinbruckner & Co

T-Team head coach Tomislav Steinbruckner has done well so far in bringing his team to the top of the Premier League table at the moment.

Today however there is another challenge when T-Team square of with KL SPA away.

Proud of his German roots, Croatian Steinbruckner is clear about his mission. "Only three points," he says, despite the absence of influential Nigerian captain David Oniya and versatile Uzbek midflielder, Sadriddin Abdullaev, due to small cheek operation and a red card respectively.
Head coach Tomi: German roots

So far unassuming Steinbruckner is noticeably different from other coaches which T-Team is familiar with.

Notes a club official, "Every coach has his own strengths. Some put money first. So far this head coach (Steinbruckner) is using all his expertise to raise the individual players' skills from the basic until playing as a team. He has also succeeded in disciplining players to work towards becoming more professional."

Wow! For a team which last season attempted to get Bojan Hodak, it would appear that T-Team has at last found a very able and committed coach, who incidentally is also a Croatian. Still, that is another challenge in today's match - living up to his newly-created reputation, and distancing T-Team further from close challengers.

Challenge number three is of course related. The players' own mentality and frame of mind, especially when the key import players are not playing. If they is even a slight complacency, don't be surprised the basement team can create an unwanted upset over T-Team.

Hopefully football fans can look forward to watching some German efficiency today.
